Evolutionary psychologist Satoshi Kanazawa at the the London School of Economics and Political Science correlated data on these behaviors with IQ from a large national U.S. sample and found that, on average, people who identified as liberal and atheist had higher IQs. It takes just a couple of minutes to see how skewed the interpretations on this study are. You cannot be sure that it was intended to slam those with a belief in God. But, we can be sure that the data was analyzed by someone who didn’t understand Christians. Some of the quotes in the article are just silly. Fun, fun, fun…

1It seems the author has a bent toward evolution and controvery — potentially pushing his own agenda. Wikipedia has a few of his controversies listed — including race & intelligence and other items. I’d be suspect of any pile of data from 7th – 12th grade age students. The reliability of their feelings, ideals, and how their world is shaped at that age is anything but reliable for long-term conclusions about society.
