At the start of October, Part of the intent of this series is to look at the issues that can hold us back from following Jesus more closely, trusting him more.
I am thrilled that we are doing this series. It has been one we have been talking about for about a year now, and it strikes very close to my heart. Â So many of my conversations are peppered with the whys of faith. Â Why is it so hard? Â Why does it work out this way? Â Why can’t it be more clear? Â Why does the bible say this? Â Why doesn’t it say this? Â These questions are central to my story with God as well. Â So, I love ’em. Â Can’t always answer them as much as I, or the asker may like, but they are so important to so many of us.
A couple of weeks ago I asked you to let us know what your buts are. Â There have been a smattering of replies on Facebook and here on jimpace.org. Â I have received many more responses via text or to my email account. Â Here is how the suggestions are going thus far. Â I have broken them down into three categories: Â Intellectual Questions, Current Events, and Personal Life Questions. Â These are all general categories and most of the questions or comments I have received fall into more than one. Â It is just a way to break them up a bit. Â
So, here is the question. Â Which of these, or others that aren’t on this list would you really be interested in hearing about? We are really working to have the questions that more people ask about be the ones we deal with. Â It may not be able to work out like that exactly, but that is the goal. Â These are your buts, not our buts. 🙂 Â Please take a moment to take a look and then let us know what you think about them. Â Only about a week left and then we have to lock them down.
This is going to be a blast!

1I am awaiting this eagerly and am amazed that these questions are going to be addressed head on, they have been lurking in all of us for years and never have been adequately discussed.
